Excellent "Excellent villa and excellent service from Freelance"
Paul Burt - Apr 2011
Very remote location "Very remote location - 2.5 hours drive from Iraklion airport. In 2nd week in April not many Tavernas open - busy redecorating for the new season. So very quiet, if that is what you are looking for. "
Jorg Weise - Sep 2009
Very quiet location "The house was in a very quiet location and that is exactly what we were looking for. "
The Wood Family - Aug 2009
"A really lovely holiday. The house was welcoming and perfect for our needs and completely exceeded my expectations as it was everything I’d hoped for. Thank you for all the personal information as well. Agia Paraskevi was really delightful, quiet and peaceful and the beaches were beautiful too. We will most certainly be booking future holidays with Freelance, well done to all of you for providing a personal service in the sincerest sense of the word. Thank you Freelance Holidays!"

"For the 1st week in AG PAG, Spili was still fairly restricted for shopping. We found a very good Supermarket just as you turned off the National highway , about a mile on the right hand side . As there is a decent frige freezer in Emilios this may be worth a mention in instructions. Also a new taverna just above Ligres beach, Villa Maria, excellent value. For the 2nd week, at Velanos Cottage 3, Kefali, which was almost faultless, a communal bbq perhaps sited above the pool would have been perfect. "

"Emilio's House and Agia Paraskevi was the perfect place for us to relax. The house is well laid out and has everything you need for cooking. I loved having the sheets changed twice a week! We spent most of our time locally, the local beaches are beautiful and quiet. All the local tavernas we went to were very good. Being able to use the lovely pool at Pegasus is great should you ever tire of the beaches. If you're after seclusion and peace in Crete you'll find it at Agia Paraskevi."
The Walkers - Sep 2005
"The perfect place for a peaceful relaxing holiday. We enjoyed every minute of it. Manolis and Roula are perfect hosts next door and the local beach at Ligres is the best of the lot."
The McCulloch Clan - Aug 2005
"Nothing changed at all, still a very pretty unspoilt part of Crete. The wine and the food on the square still up to a very high standard."
Reuben, Rachel, Ben and Beka - Jul 2005
"With Ben (4) and Beka (3) we alternated between Fotini and Ligres beaches. Fotini is ideal for young kids with a large warm rockpool and tiny sheltered harbour. Ligres is a lovely sandy beach and at the west end the kids had a great time playing on a small sandbank and were able to get into the sea on a large smooth rocky platform even when the surf was up. This is one of the few remaining unspoilt holiday destinations in the mediterranean. Please enjoy and appreciate it, as we did, before ever encroaching ''progress' turns into a bland resort like all the rest. I hope not but.......while it stays like this we will come again. "
David and Heather Sale - Jul 2005
"The house is beautiful, well equipped and extremely clean and attractive. It is probably one of the nicest houses we have stayed in. The beach at Ligres is wonderful . We swam nearly every day and it was just glorious having so much beach to ourselves. On the busiest day over the weekend, there were probably no more than 30 people on it. We strongly suspect that there is some nude sunbathing happening on the other side of the big rock for those who would like an all over tan! Ligres taverna is great too. The food is simple but good and Ali (an absolute Greek god if ever we saw one) and his father take good and laid back care of customers. The bliss of a good meal, glass of wine and watching the sunset over the Libian sea is hard to beat. We had a lovely, peaceful and relaxing holiday and would certainly travel with Freelance again."
