| Perfect holiday and didn't want to come home "We have just spent 2 weeks at the Villa Kallisto and we didn't want to come home. The villa is gorgeous, the pool is fantastic, the location is great, the views and sunsets are amazing, Pennie the owner is the best we've come across and the weather was wonderful. The villa is a 25 minute leisurely walk downhill to Almerida (you can get back in 25 minutes but it's uphill and definately requires more effort!) There are quite a few tavernas (all on the beach giving you a perfect view of the bay whilst getting your toes sandy if you wish), a couple of bakers, 4 mini supermarkets, lovely sandy beach, ATM and generally everything you need. It is not a place to go if you're looking for a wild nightlife but it is perfect for families and chilling in the most blissful way. " |

| Too easy to relax by the pool "We have just made it back home after a lovely week and thought we ought to express our thanks once again for all your assistance with the fuel situation. This was the first visit to Crete for 18 years and we wanted to try and show our children some of the places they had heard us talk about so much over the years. Unfortunately the fuel situation curtailed some of our plans but we did manage to make a memorable trip to the South coast having managed to fill up the car. However it must also be said that having the use of Villa Kallisto made a huge difference and it was all too easy just to relax by the pool and blame the fuel shortages! The views over Souda Bay were very familiar. We were very pleased with the service you gave us and also the care and attention from Pennie at the house. We all agree that when we come back again we will contact yourselves first. " |
