Harbour Studios & Apartments, Paleohora, Crete
These modern apartments are undoubtedly a cut above the relatively simple accommodation normally available in Paleohora. At first and second floor level and situated on the corner of the town's small harbour, they are literally just a stone's throw from the picturesque promenade, lined with cafes and tavernas that run along the seafront to the pebbly beach.
An attractive feature of the property is the large communal terrace at the front which overlooks the harbour with really magnificent views of the sea and Crete's White Mountains which are snow capped until June and stunningly beautiful. This terrace is the perfect spot to sunbathe or watch the world go by below and there's also a covered area where you can relax in the shade with a good book and a long cold drink. Just a few steps from the nearest taverna and with a choice of sandy or pebbly beaches a tad over 5 minutes walk away, there's definitely no better or more convenient address in town
Paleohora Harbour Apartment 1 - Sleeps 2/4
The special feature of this apartment is its large private terrace with magnificent views directly overlooking the harbour.
At first floor level, some 14 steps from the harbour side lead up to a spacious open quadrangle facing the sea, with entrance doors to the three apartments and three of the studios. Apartment A1 has a bright and airy open plan living area with a pine dining table and chairs and two sofa beds; measuring approximately 60cm wide, they are suitable for children or small teenagers. In one corner is a kitchenette with small fridge, 2 ring electric hob, plus a small separate oven. A staircase with an attractive wrought iron balustrade leads to the first floor level where there is a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, fitted wardrobe and dresser with mirror. Sliding patio doors from the bedroom open onto the terrace.
N.B. The air conditioning unit is located in the bedroom Paleohora Harbour Apartment 1 - Sleeps 2/4
Paleohora, Crete
Beguilingly known as the jewel of the Libyan Sea this laid back village stands on a promontory fringed on one side by a long sandy beach, whilst on the other side a pretty little harbour borders a pebble beach that stretches off into ‘the wild blue yonder’. ...More about Paleohora >>

| The accommodation guides in all properties are very comprehensive and provide answers to most questions. The maps are also excellent. In all the years we have been with Freelance we have only needed to use the 24 hour contact once and this service, by Diane, was excellent.
Overall, an excellent holiday, yet again, and we shall return hopefully. Many thanks |

| The personal service cannot be faulted. We know we would never have had this sort of service with a larger tour operator. |

| It was wonderful to be back at the Harbour Apartments. There may be a more perfect place than the terrace of Apartment 1 on this earth, but we don't know of it! The new cane canopy is a great improvement on the sunshade. We hope we shall return. |
