Georgioupolis “Best Beach” in the Greek Islands
The Greek Islands village of Georgioupolis with its lovely Greek Islands Village Houses and sandy beaches is now a thriving Greek Islands seaside resort it still retains a pleasing rural ambiance, lovely Greek Village Houses and leisurely pace of life. Taking the old road out of this Greek village is Vrisses, the Greek Islands village of Vrisses, a main stopping point for buses to the south coast harbour town of Chora Sfakion, where ferries ply between Loutro in Crete, and far flung Paleohora as well as Agia Roumeli at the foot of the Samaria gorge a Greek Islands Tourist Icon legend.
Greek Islands - Maleme “A Crete village full of War Time History”
Maleme is 16km west of the Greek Islands town of Chania this very fertile corner of Crete was famously the setting for the epic Greek islands Battle of Crete in the last world war.
