Haritakis House, Agia Paraskevi, Crete
Perched on a high bluff overlooking the Village Square this house has the most stunning panoramic views of the coastline and the sea.
Wrought iron gates lead into the property with a vegetable garden to the side and then an attractive, partially covered patio area paved with local stone and fringed by bougainvillea. Inside, the open plan living room has a brick fireplace and dining table with built in bench seating. A smart breakfast bar separates the L shaped kitchen area, beyond which is a small landing with a door to a twin bedroom, plus a wooden staircase to first floor level where there is a further twin bedroom, plus a double bedroom with patio doors to a gorgeous terrace. Both these bedrooms have sloping beamed ceilings and pine flooring and offer relaxing sea views whilst lying in bed! The 3 bedrooms share one shower room located off the staircase a few steps from ground floor level. Despite being built with traditional materials, the house has a pleasing modern ambience with pine flooring, pine ceilings and concealed spot lighting in the living area.

Accommodation in a nutshell
All our five village houses command superb sea views and all have a minimum of two bedrooms, plus one shower. Each house has a well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker and fridge-freezer and there's an open fireplace in the living area. An innovative feature in many of the houses is full-length French windows in the first floor bedrooms, protected by wrought iron balustrades. Each house is supplied with two sunbeds and they all have fans in the bedrooms. |

| We are from Austria, but we prefer to book with Freelance because of the really kind and competent support service and your offer of character houses at wonderful places. Thank you! We are looking forward to our next holidays with you! |

| Excellent directions and local information about beaches, tavernas etc - made the holiday very easy to 'access' and enjoy from the moment of arrival. |

| What a wonderful place! We hope to return and revisit some of our favourite bits including.......
Agia Fontini: freindly Taverna and good snorkelling
Aponaema Taverna(west of Triopetra) very good food and company
Lounging about here at the house : always a sheltered spot somewhere - despite strong winds.
Highlights certainly included exploring the coast by 4 x 4, the peaceful atmosphere both in the village and on the miles of beaches and gazing at the Milky Way each night. However be warned - spent too much time gazing at the stars on our way back from an evening in Triopetra and ended up half way up the mountain!
Have a wonderful time, I wish we could stay another week!!
