Going on holiday to Mallorca (villas in Mallorca,) would be FANTASTIC!! Especially with my new project “Weddings in Crete” Can you imagine hopping on a plane and organizing weddings on two fantastic island like Crete and Mallorca ,WOW !!!!!!!!
But down to earth after closing my Crete Villas in November, things got hard. The weather was wonderful, so harvesting our olive trees was hot business (all my guest will get pure virgin olive oil for there salads this season). With temperatures reaching 26 -27 the beach in Almirida was full of people swimming while I was dirty,sweaty and whacking olive tress.(too old for this). Now that Christmas is around the corner, weather back to normal 13-14 and harvesting done, I can start my Christmas card writing (hopefully everyone will get them before Easter).

I can’t imagine a wedding for so many! My three children all had very different weddings, but none of that size. The biggest was my younger daughters with 80 guests (that’s how many squeezed into our little church in the village). How wonderful it would have been to have had you to help with the organisation.
Now all we need is someone like you to organise weddings at one of our Villas in Mallorca – so if you ever fancy going overseas, Penny…………

Getting it together for a wedding of about 1500+ guest for my daughter and her fiance (Eleni and Gianni) has me a little worried ($) and a whole lot excited. The cost can go sky high, so having a wedding for 20 is much better pocket wise and receiving line wise (standing for 3 hours saying THANK YOU and more than half don’t know who they are)
I have a lot of wonderful ideas that will keep costs down and make the bride happy and groom even happier. I’ll be out getting samples and venue options for you to choose from, while we sit back and enjoy a glass of wine (or 2 or 3) – won’t get much done that day but will be fun trying!
I can help you with just about anything from hair to food to photographs (formal or informal) and from Cretan dancers to Belly dancers (told you the groom will be happy)
Kate and William will be so jealous they can’t get married in Crete.

Mmm - it's almost unbelievable that today it's 26 degrees in the shade in Crete. I was just speaking to Penny (owner of Villas Kallisto and Nynemia) and she said there were people swimming in the sea. Yes sunshine (of the warm kind) sounds good and Crete is probably more reliable than anywhere else. As to your family holiday dilemma, you might like to take a look at Villa Metapothia, Gavalohori. Although you would all be under one roof, there is also room to get away from each other (maybe you could put this more tactfully to your sister) as each bedroom has its own private balcony and there are plenty of hideaway places in the grounds. If you'd still prefer to book 2 villas - Villa Avra and Villa Artemis, near to Vrisses are neighbouring but still private. from each other. Also, Despina, the lovely owner is a great cook and will deliver home cooked Greek Meals. There's plenty of room for you all to get together when you choose in either Villa, but particularly at Villa Artemis.

Its pretty cold here in Grantham too !!, we love Mallorca but for next year I really feel the need for some Greek sunshine, I want to go with my sister and her family, but we both prefer to have our own space (otherwise things get nasty, haha) do you have 2 Villa’s with Pool in the Chania side of Crete that are close to each other (next door or walkable) and still avaiable mid August for 2 weeks ?
