Your accommodation will be meticulously prepare for your arrival, and equipped with a booklet packed with local information. Our representatives or local agency staff are only ever a phone call away.

We are committed to ensuring that all our customers choose the accommodation that genuinely suits their requirements and have been told on many occasions that our personal experience has proved invaluable. Since we have chosen our properties personally and in many cases actually stayed in them you will find our full descriptions as informative as possible. We try continually to improve our online information. Adding aerial photos of our Villas in Crete, caused quite a stir in many Cretan villages when our photographer took to the air in a micro-plane, drifting over our Villas whilst Diane, earthbound, called directions from below. You can now see the results on our website.

We are proud to have retained our entirely Independent Tour Operator status since 1984 when, from the outset, we undertook to offer accommodation for independent minded travellers. We are proud to say that at least 60% of the customers who travelled with us last year have travelled with us before and many return again and again.

PAUL FOGG Managing Director With 17 years experience in the travel industry, Paul joined Freelance Holidays back in 1996 as a representative in Crete. In 1999 he joined the permanent UK office as Marketing Manager and it was Paul’s foresight that saw the company commence our popular programme in Sardinia. He and his Austrian wife Sylvia are the proud parents of a charming daughter.	CHRIS COLWELL Financial Director Known better to many as CJ, Chris came from a background in Insurance, moving up from Essex in 1996 to join the company. His attention to detail is legendary and amongst many other jobs, it is CJ who makes sure that you are allotted your choice of accommodation, on the right dates, with the right car or taxi ready at the right airport. Married to Jo, they have a lovely daughter.	CHRIS LEA Operations Director Having worked in local tourism in and around Stratford on Avon as well as helping run a family farm, Chris joined the company in 2001. Passionate about the Mediterranean, she has spent many holidays travelling Greece, Italy and Spain with her husband George and their family of 3.
